Biblical Power Couples: Priscilla and Aquila

Happy Sunday Everyone.  

I skipped church today and slept in.  So as the day has worn on, I've felt inclined to get some bible in my spirit today.  Feeling like I also need to make a blog pot since I haven't in almost a week.  

Thus, I bring you: Power Couples of the Bible. 

Priscilla and Aquila were tentmakers that were exiled under an emperor that decided that all Jewish people were to leave Rome, in the year 49.  

They lived with Paul for 18 months and according to bible scholars were considered a part of the early converts of Judaism to Christianity.  During this time they lived, worked and travel with Paul and are considered as part of the Seventy Disciples.  That is, some of the earlier students of Jesus.

They are both mentioned several times in the New Testament. They are, however,  always mentioned together. Never separately.  Being described as each other mate, friend, partner and companion should be something that every marriage strives for. Inseparable and equal.

I'm sure by now, you've had a chance to chime in on the Kanye and Kim cover, but how cute is Kermit and Miss Piggy's mock cover?

Too funny.

Kim's cover photo features her in a white strapless Lanvin wedding gown, and the inside story shows, Kim, Kanye and baby North who is growing into her own look.  While, I will admit to being a Kanye fan and think he's great musically, I can live with or without Kim.

However, I must agree with Vogue editor, Anna Wintour, they both exemplify our culture and live  live up to the hashtag #worldsmosttalkedaboutcouple.  I mean, really, when was the last time a Vogue cover created this much conversation?

If you are planning a spring or summer wedding, you can consider the short dress options available.  Also, brides with long legs may want to consider this an option for showing off a little leg style.

Designers are releasing more short dress designs than they have in the past, and even if you can't fully commit to a short dress for you ceremony, these dresses also will give you an idea if you plan to change into a different dress for your reception or for showers and parties.
